Meet Christine Le, Founder & Principal

Hi, I’m Christine Lê—pronounced like “leh”, rhymes with “meh’.

I am a self-taught graphic designer and photographer, two creative outlets that have given my life meaning as I have entered adulthood. I was a high-achieving student in high school, but in college, I found myself lost in a degree that didn’t feel like it was for me. I was pushed down a route towards a finance career. So, during my senior year, I took a marketing class—and everything clicked.

Over 9 years, I built a career that let both sides of my brain—analytical and creative—work together, starting as a Social Media Analyst and working my way up to Marketing Lead. Along the way, I noticed something about myself: I light up building a brand from the ground up, but lose steam once it's time to run it long-term.

That self-awareness pointed me toward my real strength: the foundational side of brand building. And once I started looking for it, I saw the same gap in almost every business I worked with—no real brand framework underlying the marketing. Without one, marketing turns into guesswork (really expensive guesswork) that creates founder-dependency, with revenue slipping the moment they step back.

So I built Say Front around that strength—strategizing, developing, and designing the brand foundations that make marketing simpler, especially for founders whose businesses run on trust and expertise in ways generic branding doesn't account for.

Today, I help professional service founders build brands worth marketing.

My Working Philosophy

Every project is rooted in the same foundation: clarity, curiosity, honesty, and care. These beliefs are not a checklist. They are a rhythm I work by and seek to practice as Say Front continually welcomes clients and team members.

Behind the Name

/sā frŭnt/

Say Front is a tongue-in-cheek play on the superficial narrative of Los Angeles—full of fake facades fixated on fame. “Say” comes from my years behind the camera as a portrait photographer, where I quickly learned that “say cheese” evokes a forced smile, while “front” comes from years as a marketer, learning that the curated image businesses put out through their marketing is not always as it seems.

My work starts with the story that’s already there: the real people solving real problems for people who need them the most.

Say what’s true, drop the front.

Behind the Brand Identity

For the Love of the Ocean

Say Front is ocean-themed as an homage to its original roots in Long Beach, CA.
